| A big big thank you to everyone who came out for 80s night! It was a great success which simply means that it will happen again! Look for the next one to happen sometime in the early part of 2002!
Highlights from the night:
1. Outfits: Colleen graced the stage as Madonna from her "oy Toy" days. Kevin played a taller, less shaky version of Marty McFly from Back to the Future. Atom was a lighter version of Tubbs from Miami Vice. Shack used a gavel to beat his drums as Judge Harry Stone from Night Court. Adrian donned a white "Choose Life" shirt, white ladies shorts, white tennis shoes, and earrings and went as himself from the 80s. And our special guest, The Midnight Cowboy, was simply the hippest keyboardist this side of 80s in his leopard print shirt, leather pants, and cowboy hat (patent pending).
2. Super fan Stephen Ansell flew from San Diego to celebrate his 25th birthday with us - yes, he's crazy.
3. Hey someone got in a fight at the Ballroom, go figure. Too much Red Bull and Drakkar I guess.
4. The movie worked. Colleen spent nearly 24 hours putting together a 4.5 hour video of clips of nearly 100 80s movies. She still doesn't know how to set the clock though.
5. Maxim. Is a cool magazine.
Keep your eyes on the site for future photos and possible recordings from the night!
